Our PSWs are experienced in caring for individuals with various health diagnoses. This includes dementia, palliative and physical disabilities. They do so with the utmost care and professionalism. In certain situations and with special training, our PSWs may also administer medications.
Our nurses have the special skills needed to support the clinical and psychological aspects of patients with chronic and acute diseases, and palliative diagnoses.
Stepping Stones staff is supported by a physician.

Do I need Palliative Care?
There is a common misconception that Palliative Care only refers to the last days of one’s life. This is not true. Palliative Care refers to care provided to anyone with a terminal diagnosis, regardless of how much or how little time they have left. In cases where there is no formal terminal diagnosis but an individual has a poor prognosis, or has decided not to pursue any active treatments, Palliative Care can be provided. Stepping Stones Palliative Concierge Services can be there every step of the way. We even have services for those who want to plan ahead, or for those interested in completing legacy projects with their loved ones.
